Woven domestically in Japan using authentic Shetland wool sourced directly from Scotland, RATS turned their hand to an iconic wardrobe staple, the Shetland Crewneck Sweatshirt.

The Shetland Isles off the coast of mainland Scotland has been rearing sheep with the sole purpose of producing wool for centuries and is hands down the largest export from the isles. The wool is renowned for its excellent heat retention and durability, two factors that anyone who has experienced a cold, harsh winter values highly.

Cut to a modern silhouette and retaining all the traditional features, the Japanese label breaks new ground, exposing their notable ability to reproduce classic pieces whilst extending a nod to their roots and in this case, it would be the weaving of this fabric in Japan.
